The best Poker advice I can give

Posted on February 22, 2008

It is quite obvious that those staring to play Poker may look for advices from the veterans in forums, chats or blogs. Nevertheless the experts also seek for advices in order to keep up with styles and techniques for playing online poker.

Drop out the game

Do not be scared to be judge if you do not take part in all the hands...poker is a lot a matter of instinct, therefore nobody will judge you apart from yourself at the end of the day if you drop out a game.

Bluff
Try and work out the right average for bluffing, do not do it all way thought the game or it loses its poker in tricking your competitors. Keep clear to the other players that they cannot work you out and that bluffing is not your strategy.

Play when you feel at your best
Once I played at texas holdem poker and I was really feeling great: result was I lost all the hands. There isn’t such a rational answer for that and I am sure it is not something related with superstition but somehow works like that. Play poker when you had a nice day, do not allows your competitors to take advantage of your vulnerabilities.

Pick you battles
Choose and do not let the game choose you. When playing Poker you are in control. I once experienced something weird while using partypoker.com I won a lot that afternoon and I decided to spend it all gain as I felt lucky…wrong one! I lost quite a lot of cash.
