In the Caesar game, the players are expected to be familiar with the effective management of resources, organization of the entertainment venues, healthcare facilities and the security services. The player controls the city’s finances and he is expected to add to the profit of Rome or face the wrath of the emperor. No strategy game is entertaining without the presence of conflicts. In the Caesar game are expected to build military units, ranging from champion infantry to paladin cavalry and protect the province from the barbarians like the Visigoths and the Huns.

Besides this, players can establish a trade network between the different provinces for the wealth of the empire to flow into the required province. This earns the players the favor of the emperor. The ultimate challenge lies in effectively managing and watching a simple village evolve into a bustling cosmopolitan city. The challenges and the responsibilities increase as the game progresses.
